Asphalt Valentine – Playing soon on local radio WNNX Rock100.5

Got some local news for us Atlanta folks (and, with the advent of radio stations live broadcasting, this news is really for everyone honestly – but gotta have a special show to Atlanta here). Jackson Heaton is the night DJ on Atlanta’s Rock100.5 and one of the things he does every night from Monday – Friday at 8:30 PM EST is play a selected local artist’s song for the week. This is a thing he calls “ROCK 100.5 Home Brew Artist of the Week”… It’s the same song each night of the week for said selected artist (so you get to listen to that song every night) – but this is most certainly something cool in a time where original bands were hard pressed to find shows – so being recognized for creating a thing other people like is very cool.

Of course, the local news is Asphalt Valentine was selected for next week (July 6 – July 10). Our title track “Twisted Road” is the track (which is an obvious choice lol). The backstory behind me submitting to Home Brew and when Jackson called me is pretty hilarious. He is a great dude!! We’ve chatted a few times since about what they are going to do and when it happens, but we also randomly chatted about whatever – beer, golf, Covid, etc. He loves this Home Brew bit – and it shows.

Thanks to the power of radio stations adding live streaming, you can actually listen wherever you are. 🙂 It will be the normal hardish rockish Cumulous-approved music, and then we pop in for a song. We’ll see how we stack up against that….
